As at 1am, February 26,2021 that was on Friday, two Grindbird Kia buses collided head-on at the Akyem Asafo stretch of the Accra – Kumasi highway.
According to reports,sixteen(16) persons are feared dead after the two buses collided.
An eyewitness confirmed that the accident occurred as at 1am at dawn.
While sixteen(16) persons are feared dead,several persons have also sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash .
It is noted that some injured persons have been trapped in the two accident vehicles.
The Officials of the Ghana National Fire Service and personnel from the Police Service are doing their possible best at the scene to rescue the injured persons said to have been trapped in the two accident vehicles.
