Akuapem Poloo Jailed For Three Months

Social media personality Rosemond Brown better known as Akuapem Poloo has currently been jailed for three months after her conviction.


Akuapem Poloo was charged of publication of obscene material and domestic violence.

Akuapem Poloo,was found guilty of posting a nude picture of herself and her seven-year-old son on his birthday , on June 30, 2020.

The complainant in the case was Bright Appiah, who is the Director of Child Rights International Ghana.

He petitioned the police after the picture went viral on the internet and the matter was referred to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU)
