What Happened To Amy Fishman’s Father?
Amy Fishman’s father Henry Fonda died from heart disease, on August 12, 1982, at age 77, in Los Angeles, California, U.S. According to the New York Times, Henry Fonda left his estate to Amy Fishman and his widow, Shirlee Mae Adams. His children Jane and Peter Fonda received nothing. He mentioned in his will that, ‘My decision is not in any sense a measure of my deep affection for them.’
Henry Fonda said he was providing for his wife and adopted daughter Amy ‘because they are dependent on me for their support.’ Peter Fonda also died on August 16, 2019, at age 79, from respiratory failure caused by lung cancer. His family confirmed his death in a statement: “It is with deep sorrow that we share the news that Peter Fonda has passed away. [Peter] passed away peacefully on Friday morning, August 16 at 11:05 a.m. at his home in Los Angeles surrounded by family.”
