Anthony J. Hope was born on 1 July 1940. Details of his biological parents are unknown but he was adopted by Bob Hope and Dolores Hope. William Kelly Francis Hope, Eleanora Hope, and Linda Hope were also adopted by his adoptive parents Bob Hope and Dolores Hope.
Bob Hope and Dolores Hope were also the legal guardians of Tracey, the youngest daughter of famous New York City bar owner Bernard “Toots” Shor and his wife, Marion “Baby” Shor. There isn’t much information about the formative years of Anthony J. Hope but he grew up in a Los Angeles suburb but was born in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA.

Anthony J. Hope served in several government positions, most notably as head of the National Indian Gaming Commission. He entered into the California Congressional race to fill the seat vacated by Representative Bobbi Fiedler, a Republican.
He lost in the primary to the mayor of Simi Valley, Elton Gallegly, who won in the general election. Anthony served in several federal roles, according to sources.

President Jimmy Carter named Anthony to the Government Management Improvement Council and President Ronald Reagan appointed him to the Grace Commission, which was formed to find waste and fraud in the federal government.
The first President George Bush appointed Anthony as chairman of the gaming commission, which oversees the gambling enterprises of American Indian tribes. He was confirmed in 1990 and served through five years of the Clinton administration.

What Happened To Anthony J. Hope?
Anthony J. Hope died on June 28, 2004, at a hospital near his home in Washington. He was 63 years old when he died. He died nearly a year after the death of his father, Bob Hope, who died on July 27, 2003, of pneumonia at his home in Toluca Lake, California two months after his 100th birthday.

The cause of Anthony J. Hope’s death is still unknown. He left behind his beautiful wife of 12 years, Paula Nickey Hope and his son, Zachary Hope of Santa Monica, and his daughter, Miranda Hope of Washington. His mother Dolores Hope also died on September 19, 2011, in Toluca Lake, California, U.S. when she was 102 years old. She died of natural causes.
