Bernard’s mother is Marie Elyse Soape. She is the first woman her father got married to. They tied the knot in 1965 but things didn’t go as planned as their marriage came to an end in 1974. They were married for almost a decade before it all came to end.

After his parents’ marriage came to end, his father moved on and got into two more marriages. His second marriage was to actress Susan Berger. Corbin has won many cutting-horse competitions. Much of his spare time is spent riding horses and tending to cattle on his small ranch near Fort Worth. He has volunteered his time to charity for many years, including rodeos and being a spokesman for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation. In 2006, he participated in the Lubbock centennial.

Bernard Corbin’s father has recently revealed that he has been battling cancer for some time. Barry revealed that he found a spot on the inside of his cheek. He said he knew it was cancer immediately, but he didn’t discuss it with anybody. When he was diagnosed with cancer, he said that doctors told him he could have lost his voice.

The movie star has been keeping this information away from his fans, but recently decided that he is ready to share his struggle. The diagnosis has cast a shadow over his career, but he has not let it get him down too much. He shared what doctors told him when they told him what was plaguing him and said it was difficult to hear.
