Brandon David Jackson was welcomed into the world on March 12, 1957, in Gary, Indiana, United States. His parents are Katherine Jackson and Joseph Walter “Joe” Jackson (July 26, 1928 – June 27, 2018). His mother Katherine who played clarinet and piano, had aspired to be a country-and-western performer, and worked part-time at Sears.

Katherine was a Jehovah’s Witness. She would become an author and the matriarch of the Jackson family of entertainers. Brandon’s father, Joe was a former boxer, a crane operator at US Steel, and played guitar with a local rhythm and blues band, the Falcons. He was later a talent manager and patriarch of the Jackson family of entertainers.

Brandon’s parents gave birth to 10 children including him and his twin brother Marlon David Jackson (b. March 12, 1957). Brandon has eight other siblings: Maureen Reillette “Rebbie” Jackson, Sigmund Esco “Jackie” Jackson, Toriano Adaryll “Tito” Jackson, Jermaine La Jaune Jackson, La Toya Yvonne Jackson, Michael Joseph Jackson, Steven Randall “Randy” Jackson and Janet Damita Jo Jackson.

He is said to have died 8-24 hours after his birth as he and his twin Marlon David Jackson were several weeks premature. Brandon had respiratory failure.

Brandon David Jackson’s death affected his twin Marlon David Jackson. Marlon would consider his younger brother Michael Joseph Jackson as a substitute for his lost twin, Brandon. Growing up, Marlon was very close to Michael. After Michael died, Marlon said:

“Maybe now, Michael, they will leave you alone” and “I would like for you to give our brother, my twin brother, Brandon, a hug for me.” Marlon said, “I love you, Michael, and I’ll miss you.” Michael Jackson who is known as the “King of Pop”, passed away on June 25, 2009, at age 50, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He died from cardiac arrest, caused by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose.

Conrad gave Michael propofol, lorazepam, and midazolam and Michael’s death was caused by a propofol overdose.

In 2011, Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson’s death for having inadvertently overdosed him with a powerful surgical anesthetic, propofol, which was being improperly used as a bedtime sleep agent. He served roughly two years out of his original four-year prison sentence.
