Carrie Underwood invited her mother, Carole Underwood to join her on stage on the chart-topping single, “All-American Girl.” Carrie said to her mom, “Is there anything you want to say to these fine people?” Carole responded by saying, “I’m so happy you’re here, and I hope you enjoy the show”.

Carrie Underwood took to social media to give credit to her mother for supporting and encouraging her music career. She said her mother encouraged her to audition for Season 4 of American Idol. She wrote,

Carole Underwood also joined her daughter Carrie on the Cry Pretty Tour, where they performed “The Champion.” Carrie share a video on her Instagram handle and wrote the caption, “Nailed it! I kept trying to keep her on track! 😂” Underwood captioned a clip of their performance at the time. “At the end she said, ‘Did I do OK?’ Who knew Mom could rap?!”
