Chris Ackerman’s father, Harry Ackerman died of “pulmonary failure” at age 78 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California in 1991. He was laid to rest in the Garden of Heritage at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. His mother is now married to Lou Genevrino. They got married in 1992.
