Dennis William Cattrall was born on May 1, 1925, in West Derby, Metropolitan Borough of Liverpool, Merseyside, England to William David Cattrall and Edith Mary Munslow Cattrall. He was the brother of Edna May Cattrall. Dennis has not provided much information about his family and early life.

How Did Kim Cattrall’s Father Die?

Kim Cattrall’s father, Dennis Cattrall died on February 2, 2012. He was 86 years old when he died. He lost his battle with Alzheimer’s disease. His daughter Kim shared on her Twitter account: “Dennis William Cattrall May 1, 1925 – February 2, 2012. RIP.” Kim told The Mirror: “I’m concerned about Alzheimer’s disease. It took my father.”

Dennis Cattrall had spent the last years of his life in the senior facility. He is said to have been buried at Holy Trinity Churchyard, Wavertree, Metropolitan Borough of Liverpool, Merseyside, England, per Findagrave. He was reportedly cremated after his death, and his children spread his ashes in Liverpool, close to the headquarters of Liverpool Football Club.

The mother of Dennis Cattrall’s children, Gladys Shane Baugh died in 2022, at age 93. Dennis’ son Christopher “Chris” Cattrall was found dead after his sister Kim Cattrall had announced that Chris was missing. Kim asked for public help in finding her brother. She shared a picture of Chris and wrote:

“MISSING! This is my brother Christopher Cattrall or Chris as we call him. He has been missing since Tuesday, January the 30th from his home in Lacombe, Alberta Canada. His keys, cell phone,& wallet left on the table and his front door unlocked. This is not like Chris. He he would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs.”

Chris Cattrall died by suicide in 2018. Kim Cattrall said: “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall.
