Dollar-flaunting Driver Of GNPC Boss, Wife Shot Dead By Assailants

The wife of Nana Prempeh, the aide to the Chief Executive Office of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr KK Sarpong was murdered.

According to reports, she was shot dead at the forecourt of Joefel Restaurant at Dichemso on Saturday evening.

Benedicta Abena Pokua, the wife of Nana Prempeh was reportedly murdered by unknown assailants while driving in a Range Rover with a customized registration number PREMPEH 1- 21.

Nana Prempeh narrating the incident on Akoma FM‘s current affairs and political show, he noted that his wife was shot several times by unknown armed men while he was in a different car behind them.

Nana Prempeh said, “while on our way from Joefel Restaurant, my wife was driving my white Range Rover with a customized registration number PREMPEH 1- 21”.

“She was driving ahead of me while I was in a different car. All what I saw was someone had rushed her and opened gun fire at her. They shot multiple times and sped off.”

Nana Prempeh further indicated that, in his opinion the men who shot his wife missed their target as he suspect they wanted him rather but little did they know he had swapped cars with his wife.

Following the incident, the Ashanti Regional Police Command of the Ghana Police Service is investigating the case.
