Dontay Banks had been serving two life sentences without the possibility of parole, with no disclosed details. He was arrested for distributing crack cocaine in Chicago. Per reports, Dontay Banks was arrested with $8 million on him.
Dontay Banks was sentenced to life in prison and later he filed for an appeal after spending 22 years in jail and was granted freedom in February 2019. His son Lil Durk announced his release on Twitter, tweeting: “Big Durk home !!!!”

After weeks in jail, Lil Durk and King Von were released on $250,000 & $300,000 bonds, respectively.
