What Happened To Elaine LaLanne’s Husband?
Elaine LaLanne’s beloved husband Jack LaLanne took his last breath on January 23, 2011, in Morro Bay, California, U.S. He was 96 years old when he died. He died of respiratory failure due to pneumonia. Before his death, he had been sick but refused to see a doctor. He continued to perform his daily workout routine the day before his death. He often used to say, “I can never die; that would ruin my image!”
Jack LaLanne’s wife, Elaine LaLanne, along with his family and friends were at his side when he passed away. Elaine said in a statement on her husband’s death: “I have not only lost my husband and a great American icon, but the best friend and most loving partner anyone could ever hope for.” Jack was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
