Frances Swaggart and her husband Jimmy Swaggart have been married since October 10, 1952. The couple met in church in Wisner, Louisiana while Jimmy was playing music with his father, who pastored the Assembly of God Church there. The two got together and married at the time they were both teenagers. Frances was then a 15-year-old while Jimmy was a 17-year-old.

Frances has been very supportive of her husband, Jimmy. The two have remained together through thick and thin. They’ve fought through several battles and their relationship has strengthened throughout the years. There was a time when they lived in poverty. “Throughout all of these years, we’ve seen some great days, and we’ve seen some hard days; however, not one single time have I ever seen her lose Faith”, Jimmy said.
