The president of Ghana,Nana Akufo-Addo during the 24th address to the nation on Sunday, 28 February 2021, has encouraged all Ghanaians to be confident in the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.
The President disclosed that the corona virus vaccines are safe for all Ghanaians.
The President assured Ghanaians that the COVID-19 vaccines have been certified by the Ghana Food and Drug Authority.
Most Ghanaians have reacted to the statement by the president.
The president, Nana Akufo Ado stated that,
“I know that there are still some who continue to express doubts about the vaccine, others have expressed reservations about its efficacy, and some have sided with conspiracy theorists who believe that the vaccine was created to end the African race.
“This is far from the truth. As your president, I want to assure you that the vaccine is safe,” the president said in his 24th national address since the vaccine outbreak.
