Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson Tours The Tema Fishing Harbour.

The Member of parliament(MP) for Awutu Senya East Constituency and Minister for Fisheries, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson, toured the Tema Fishing Harbour.

“As part of my working visit to institutions whose activities are critical to the fishing industry, i paid a visit to the Ghana Port and Harbour Authority yesterday to familiarise myself with their operations.

The Marine Operations Department took me through the daily activities of the fishing Harbour.

I also toured the facilities of the Tema Fishing Harbour to ascertain how the various fishing vessels are managed”, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson stated.

The Ghana Port and Harbour Authority (GPHA) is the fishing port and an attractive investment destination for fishing and fishing production in Ghana.
