I Didn’t Steal My ‘Shuperu’ Song From Fireboy’s ‘Peru’ – Mr. Drew Reacts

Ghanaian musician, songwriter, and dancer, Mr. Drew has currently come out to clear the air on the rumors about his new song, “Shuperu”.

The Highly Spiritual Music signee Mr Drew came through with a brand new record titled “Shuperu”.The song,Shuperu by Mr Drew features Singer,Kidi and was lifted off his “Alpha” album.

For some time now,the Shuperu song has attracted a lot of comments and reactions.
Many have opinion that Mr Drew has copied fireboy’s song titled ‘Peru’.

Mr. Drew has said that he named his song “Shuperu” trying to revive the term.

He added that he also dubbed the song “Shuperu” to modify the dance steps to appeal to the new generation.

According to him,his song “Shuperu” was even recorded on his album before Fireboy released his song “peru”.

Mr. Drew added that the Peru song was released before his but those who leaked his “Shuperu” song can attest that he recorded his song even before Fireboy dropped his.

Mr Drew said this in an interview with Sammy Kay on his Go Online show.

‘’Shuperu’’ is a very popular term used back in the 90s and it was a name of a particular dance style that got people off their seats.
