Nigel Gaisie denies prophesying. Says he was joking and having fun after Kotoko lost one nil
Prophecy and predictions are inter-related. However, the criteria that helps to differentiate between these two is the level and rate of accuracy. Most often than not, prophecies have a 99% of occuring provided it is genuine.
However, prediction is all about 50%-50% win and loss respectively. Most men of God mistake predictions for prophecies and pride themselves of such prophecies whenever they come to pass.
Nigel Gaisie is the Prophet and Leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel. He is regarded as one of the controversial prophets as he constantly publicly gives “controversial” prophecies mostly around political issues.
Yesterday, he surprised Ghanaians as he deviated from his normal area of prophecy, politics, and rather went ahead of the match to predict or in his case, prophecy the winner of this game. He did this through his verified Facebook page, Nigel Gaisie.
Interestingly enough, Hearts of Oak has won the match today giving them a comfortable lead ahead of their opponents, Asante Kotoko. This victory contradicts the prophecy of the man of God.
This has put Nigel Gaisie in a tight corner and in Hot Waters. Another exposé? Fast forward, the renowned preacher had hinted that it was all a joke.
He indicated Ghanaians take things serious and this was in support of his club Kotoko. Is the preacher man really sincere with Ghanaians or is trying to play smart.
