The Founder of Royal House Chapel Most Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah would have to respond to some serious allegations leveled against his church by former HIV/AIDS ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah. According to her, in her desperate moment of seeking divine healing from HIV infection, a prayer warrior of Royal House Chapel lured her to vomit as though she was forcibly purging herself from the deadly virus.
Joyce Dzidzor disclosed a while ago on her Facebook channel that the incident happened in 2007 at the church. She mentioned that the prayer warrior [whose name has been withheld] persuaded her to believe the puke was the virus in her system and that she is cured by the holy spirit.
She added that it was a painful experience forcing herself to vomit based on the inspiration she had from the prayer warrior. Many years after, Joyce Dzidzor still remains HIV positive and she wonders if the church is pure and of God, or it is simply one of the fake ones.
“In 2007, I went to Royal house chapel to get healed from HIV. The prayer warrior prayed with me and in the process, they asked me to vomit out the HIV. I forced myself to vomit saliva and they asked me to go home and that the HIV is gone. But how come I’m still HIV positive? Is it that the church is fake or the fake is the church,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
Her comment had sparked some controversy about her faith and the church as well. Many questioned why she forced herself into vomiting when she hadn’t felt anything [the HIV virus] in her throat. Others also chided her for not believing in the prayer hence her inability to receive divine healing.
She had kept her silence perhaps reading through these comments. Joyce Dzidzor known to be ‘temperamental’ may retaliate at the least provocation even if it meant naming the prayer warrior who lured her into believing by the prayer and the vomiting she is cured of HIV.
