Though they promised each other forever, things didn’t go as planned. Their marriage got sour along the line, Ingrid and his ex-husband, James Caan divorced and separated on 29 March 1995. However, the reason behind their separation was never made public.
In a 1994 interview with Vanity Fair, the popular Hollywood madam, Heidi Fleiss claimed to be in a relationship with Caan who was her longtime crush during his marriage to Hajek in 1992, visiting him on the set of Flesh and Bone in Texas. The actor on the other hand said his relationship with Fleiss was platonic.
