Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has once again taken over the internet and shown his fellow countrymen that farming is one of the best professions we are sleeping on.
The Actor now a Politicians since he decided to venture into agriculture has always proven to the Ghanaian population how things are well going in the field and on several occasions calls on the Government to focus more on the sector.
Dumelo has once again shown off a huge acre of Cabbage farm that he has and went ahead to give details on how profitable it could be for anyone into it.
He said in his post on Facebook, his cabbage takes between two to three months to get ready for harvest after plantation and that harvest can bring in three thousand to five thousand heads per acre.
Even that, it depends on the spacing between the crop during plantation. Dumelo also revealed one head of cabbage can be sold for an amount of GHs 6 and that also depends on the season.
“Midyear Cabbage review: Cabbage takes 2.5-3 months to harvest…..you can harvest about 3000-5000 heads per acre depending on the spacing. Each head can be sold for about 6gh($1) depending on the season.” Dumelo stated
