Hope Hamilton was born on August 17, 2003, to Emma Walton Hamilton and Stephen Hamilton. Hope’s mother Emma is the daughter of Julie Andrews and her late ex-husband Tony Walton (24 October 1934 – 2 March 2022), who was a British set and costume designer. Hope’s mother Emma is a “best-selling and award-winning author, editor, stage, television and podcast writer/producer, performer and arts educator,” according to her website.
Emma and her mother, Julie Andrews, have co-authored more than thirty books for children and adults, nine of which have been on the New York Times best-seller list. Emma has also worked as an actress in theater, film, and television, and as a theatrical director and producer. Hope’s parents Emma and Stephen Hamilton have been married since 1991.
Hope Hamilton is following in her grandmother Julie Andrews and her mother Emma’s footsteps. She has also got involved in the entertainment industry just like Julie and Emma. Hope is an actress, singer, writer, and visual artist. She made her professional stage debut as Sir Percival in Bay Street Theater’s production of Camelot.
Hope appeared in The Great American Mousical (“Pippin”) at Bay Street, directed by Julie Andrews.
