Days after the death of Police officer Emmanuel Osei who was shot by armed men during a robbery attack on a bullion van, Ghana’s car manufacturer Kantanka automobile has unveil what could be a proposed armored vehicle for banks as bullion vans.

Following the death of the police officer, Ghanaians have quizzed why banks still transport bulk cash with modified pickups endangering the lives of staff and offices onboard.
The police service through the IGP James Oppong Boanuh has also said, the police will have no choice but to withdraw their services to the banks if they fail to provide armored vehicles as bullion vans before the end of July.
The sad demise of Constable Emmanuel Osei is not the first of its kind as many officers have also died in duty while transporting cash in modified pickups Used as bullion vans.
