The Minister of Health said that the reporter who carried the information had totally misinterpreted him. He added that maybe it is because he used local dialect while speaking to his residents at Dormaa on the spread of Covid-19.

He said ” it is unfortunate that this has come up here but that was not what I meant . I was trying to tell people that they should have sympathy on those of us who are fighting the battle and listen to the admonitions we put into the public domain to adhere and comply with the protocols ,that was all. And a Journalist who may not have gone up to the level that he should have reported properly put this thing there”.

He added that ,” I confronted the man who did that ,that why did you misquote me in a language that my people wouldn’t easily understand me. I was talking to Dormaa people”.
