Who is Pat Boone’s daughter, Laurey?
Laura “Laury” Gene Boone is the youngest daughter of Pat Boone and his late wife, Shirley Boone nee Foley. She is the fourth child of the four Boon children- Her sisters are Linda Boone, Cherry Boone, and Debby Boone. Laurey is often credited with her married name Laury Boone Browning. Though her date of birth is unknown, she is believed to be in her late 50s.
In a 2007 interview on The 700 Club, Laurey Boone’s father claimed to be the great-great-great-great-grandson of the American pioneer Daniel Boone.

Her parents who got married in 1953 at the age of 19 nearly ended in the 1960s due to her father’s alcoholism and preference for attending parties. However, after becoming acquainted with the Charismatic Movement, Shirley began to concentrate more on her religion and eventually influenced the singer and their daughters to do the same.
Linda Boone and her sister formed a singing group
Laurey Boone and her sisters started touring with their parents at a very young age. Back in the 1970s, the four daughters of Pat Boone went by their stage name The Boones when they formed the pop singing group and went on to release their debut album, The Boone Girls.
The siblings started their career recording with their parents as The Pat Boone Family and later took a different stage name- the Boones or Boone Girls. Coming from a family with musical talents- they are the granddaughters of Red Foley- their album was well-received in the gospel community.
Laurey Boone and her siblings made Billboard’s AC charts twice, with “When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes” (No. 25) in 1975, a remake of the Supremes’ first top 40 hit, and “Hasta Maana” (No. 32) in 1977, a cover of a track from ABBA’s Waterloo album. Sadly, the sisters’ music group didn’t last long.
The sisters also appeared together on several TV shows in the 1970s that include The Merv Griffin Show, Perry Como’s Springtime Special, the movie Pat Boone and Family, and the ensuing holiday special TV shows that followed. Laurey Boone has also made an appearance on an episode of the 2000 TV series Praise.

She has performed on her own Prayers and Promises, Thursday’s Child, Sweet Harmony, and Push Back the Darkness with Harry Browning, as well as The Boones’ Glass Castle, First Class, Heavenly Love, Debby Boone’s Friends for Life, Harry Browning’s No Alibis, and Russ Taff’s Walls of Glass. Per her Twitter Bio, Pat Boone’s daughter, Laurey Boone is a teacher and writer. She has stated that she is not writing to purge. She also stated that writing helps her stay awake and present. She went on to explain again that writing serves as a medium for meaningful inner dialogue, resulting in more questions than answers.
According to Footnotes, Laurey Boone was married to the singer Harry Robert Browning and is now married to Dr. Aaron Koepp. The couple has children and several grandchildren. Her mother Shirley Boone passed away from vasculitis at age 84 in January 2019. As of 2023, her father Pat Boone is 89 years old.
