May 9th We Are Protesting!- Efia Odo Declares

Among the advocates for the #FixTheCountry is Ghanaian celebrity, Efia Odo.
Efia Odo has disclosed that the group is protesting on May 9th.

According to Efia Odo, the protest is not going to be in one day.
She added that the group will continue to protest against the government, the leadership of the country until they see that the government is really doing its best to improve the lives of the citizens.

Efia Odo further hinted that the conveners of the #FixTheCountry movement were to hold a scheduled meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. James Oppong-Boanuh on his request. But when the group was on their way to meet him, they got a new directive that they should go to the office of the National Security Minister, Hon. Albert Kan-Dappah.

Per the tweets from the conveners of the movement like Kaly Jay and Efia Odo, it seems the meeting was not as successful as they had hope for but they are still in high hopes that the intended protest will come off as planned.

May 9th we are protesting! And it’s not just a one day protest . We will protest until the demand of the people are met. If it will take me a lifetime, I will not stop. I don’t talk much, just show action. We will pull up on them! #FixthecountryGhana
