In 2014, she graduated with a history degree from Middlebury College in Vermont. Mica Schlosser’s Shauna Redford is the eldest daughter of Robert Redford and his ex-wife Van Wagenen.  In October of 1985- the same year she graduated with an art degree from the University of Colorado Boulder-, the New York Times reported that Shauna married her husband, Eric Schlosser, at her parents’ home in Provo Canyon, Utah. The couple’s marriage ceremony was performed by a Utah State Supreme Court judge and former Salt Lake City mayor Ted Wilson.

In 2018, Mica Schlosser’s famous grandfather spoke to the Salt Lake Tribune about retiring and what that would mean for the arts nonprofit he founded in 1981- the Sundance Institute. Sundance “is going to be in the hands of my children,” The celebrated actor said while talking about the organization he built with the financial proceeds of his acting success, starting with his salaries from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and Downhill Racer.

“I’ve been spending a lot of time bringing my children — Shauna and Amy and Jamie — into the picture, and now they’re there and they’re in a position to run the show,” he said. “Basically, they’re inheriting what I started, and they’re going to keep it going with my grandchildren.“
