Peter Frampton and Barbara Gold’s son Julian Frampton, has decided to follow in his father’s footsteps. Julian, the only son of Peter, is a musician just like his father. Julian is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. At the age of 8, he began playing the drums and singing in the school choir but didn’t join his first band until high school.
After high school, Julian Frampton moved to New York and started writing his own songs on guitar. Julian co-wrote and sang on his father’s song “Road to the Sun” from “Thank You Mr. Churchill”. Julian is the founder of the Julian Frampton Band. Julian Frampton Band is a Los Angeles-based alternative rock band, fronted by Julian Frampton.

Julian has sung alongside several acclaimed guitarists such as Dean DeLeo of The Stone Temple Pilots and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick.
Julian Frampton has also recorded with legendary drummer, Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. He reportedly took a break from his Julian Frampton Band to produce a new track for his sweetheart, who records under the name Annie Of The Canyon. The song is titled, “You Don’t Know You Like I Do”.
When Julian Frampton was asked which artist he looks up to the most, he said: “Well, the obvious first answer would be my father, Peter Frampton. His drive and his talent are second to none. I’m inspired by him daily and also very proud of him and all that he has accomplished in life and his career.” He added that:
“Other names of artists I strongly admire (that aren’t family members haha) would be Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, and Jack White. Those three are really on another level with their writing and their risk taking.”
