Mexican-American actress Rebecca Jones passes away at the age of 65. The actress has been credited in many telenovelas such as: El angel caido, Cuna de lobos, Imperio de Cristal, Para volver a amar and Que te perdone Dios. Jones was married for 25 years to actor Alejandro Camacho and they had a child Maximiliano Camacho Jones.

What was the cause of Rebecca Jones’ death?

According to Univision, The actress was admitted on November 1, 2022, by her own decision after presenting lung deficiency due to a respiratory infection that left her convalescing for several months. It was on November 2 when it was announced that Rebecca Jones was admitted to intensive care and her family requested blood donors.

The actress was forced to leave the recordings of the telenovela Cabo, which is broadcast on the Univision signal, where she gave life to Lucía Alarcón. Her role was reprised by Azela Robinson Univision reported.

“She was accompanied at all times by her loved ones , she left in peace and with deep gratitude to her audience, for whom she worked all her life,” he highlighted. The cause of her death was not specified.

Rebecca Jones is the daughter of a father from the United States and a Mexican mother, who moved to California, United States when she was very small where she studied. After her education in 1981, the actress returned to Mexico due to personal reasons. After two years in Mexico, she gave acting a shot and made her debut as an actress, with the work El coleccionista (1983).
