CEO of Lynx Entertainment Richie Mensah has finally reacted to the circulating news on the lawsuit against his signee Kuami Eugene by Nigerian singer Oduma Essan.
News making trends on the internet reveals that, Kuami Eugene has been accused by Nigerian singer Ottomi Patrick Akhere aka Oduma Essan for music theft.
Kuami Eugene is being accused of stealing the concept and element in the making of his single ‘Show Body’, released last year.
Reports disclosed that Oduma Essan sued Kuami Eugene Ghc 120,000 in damages after promoting the music video of his song in both Ghana and Nigeria.
Richie Mensah has sent warning to bloggers and media houses trying to destroy the image of his singee.
Richie made this known in a recent interview with Joy News radio presenter Doreen Avio.
Richie has mounted blame on some Ghanaian bloggers and media houses for addressing Kuami Eugene as a lazy songwriter, alerting foreigners to sue the him anytime someone’s line or concept accidentally collide with his.
Richie Mensah said Oduma Essan suing Kuami Eugene makes no sense because Eugene’s song was released before his.
Richie added that if Kuami Eugene was sued, it is none of anyone’s business and the media should stop spreading false news and nonsense.
