Roman is not the only child of Harvey Keitel who is following in his footsteps, Roman’s sister Stella played the daughter of her real-life father Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant (1992) and also the daughter of her real-life mother Lorraine Bracco in Goodfellas (1990). The then 13-year-old son of “tough guy” actor Harvey Keitel was attacked in Tribeca by two teenage bullies, police sources told Pagesix. “Get off the bike right now,” one of the bullies commanded Keitel’s youngest son Roman after they approached the boy at Varick Street near Franklin Street around 5:30 p.m. – mere blocks away from the family’s penthouse, sources told the outlet.

 Roman was punched in the face and had his glasses broken before his attackers ran off, leaving Roman’s bicycle behind. He suffered scratches on the right side of his temple and he was treated at a hospital and released. “He was punched in the nose, causing bruising, swelling and complaints of pain,” a source told Pagesix.

Roman’s parents secretly married in Jerusalem, while attending the Haifa International Film Festival. In October 2001 they had their official ceremony at the Manhattan home of Keitel’s friend, Ian Eckersley. The family has been spotted attending lots of events together, looking good and happy as a family.

However, before, Roman Keitel’s mother, his father was in a long-term relationship with American actress Lorraine Bracco from 1982 to 1993, but the relationship ended acrimoniously and included a prolonged custody battle over their daughter, Stella (born 1985).  Harvey is an honorary citizen of Romania.
