Charles Ayisala, a Security man who earns 150GH cedis a month has been jailed for 8yr prison in prison for catapulting an intruder. The intruder who is a university Graduate sneaked into one of the rooms Charles was watching over and eased himself on the floor. When Charles approached the man to find out why a learned fellow like him will do that, a fight ensued.
According to the Security man, the heavily built graduate held his throat and strangling him to death. Fearing for his life, he struck a shot with the catapult which unfortunately hit his eye.

Finances Francis was unable to hire a lawyer to stand for him when the intruder took the case to court.
He was asked to pay six thousand two hundred cedis (600) to the state and three thousand cedis (300) to the intruder or in default serve 8yrs in prison. He couldn’t pay. His boss whose property He was protecting did not pay for him either. The forty-six year had to face jail leaving behind his 5 children with the wife.

After serving four years in prison, a good Samaritan Ali Ibrahim gave Crime Check Ghana money to pay Charles’ fine. Francis couldn’t hold back his tears when they broke the news to him that he is going home.
