Alexander ‘Sasha’ John Vincent Hurt was born on February 6, 1990. He is 33 years old as of 2023. Sir John Vincent Hurt (22 January 1940 – 25 January 2017) and his third wife Joan Dalton are his parents. His father was an actor and voice actor while his mother was a production assistant. His parent’s marriage lasted from 24 January 1990 to 1996.

Sasha Hurt is not the only child of his parents. He has a younger brother called Nicholas “Nick” Hurt. Nick was born on February 5, 1993. Sasha and his younger brother Nick are close to each other. Sasha looks out for his brother and cares for him in his own little way. The brothers share a strong bond. After their parents divorced, their father remarried.

Sasha John Vincent Hurt’s stepmother became advertising film producer Anwen Rees-Meyers after she and Sasha’s father got married. Sasha’s paternal grandparents were Phyllis (née Massey; 1907–1975), an engineer and one-time actress, and Arnold Herbert Hurt (1904–1999), a mathematician who became a Church of England clergyman.

Arnold also served as vicar of Holy Trinity Church in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, and was previously vicar of St John’s parish in Sunderland, County Durham. John died at his home in Cromer, Norfolk, on 25 January 2017, three days after his 77th birthday. He died after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In 2015, he publicly announced that he had been diagnosed with early-stage pancreatic cancer.
