Shatta Wale Has Been Arrested

News reaching dicy trends reveals that Charles Nii Armah Mensah known as Shatta Wale has been arrested by the police.

Ghanaian dancehall singer has been trending on the internet after he was allegedly shot by unknown gunmen at East Legon.

Currently the Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of Shatta Wale on their official twitter handle.

According to the police service,details surrounding his arrest will soon be announced to the public.

Recall, Shatta Wale’s personal assistant, Nana Dope shared on the news on snapchat informing the public that Shatta Wale has been shot.Shatta Wale also announce earlier that he will turn himself in to the police.

A statement released by the Ghana Police Service reads,

Police Have Arrested Charles Nii Armah Mensah Popularly Known as Shatta Wale

The Police have arrested Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale. After we publicly declared him and one other person wanted, the suspect, Shatta Wale, turned himself in today Tuesday 19th October, 2021, at 8.59pm.

He has been arrested to assist the Police in investigations for his alleged involvement in the creation and circulation of information intended to cause fear and panic.

As stated in previous statements, the public is advised to desist from publishing false information, capable of disturbing the peace of the country or risk being arrested and prosecuted.
