Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr known professionally as Shatta Wale has made some revelations after the recent list of nomination in the 3music awards surfaced.
In a Facebook live video the Ghanaian singer formerly called Bandana has descended on entertainment radio host and panelists. He mentioned that most of them are dumb and know nothing about music.
Controversial Dancehall singer, shatta said that most radio presenters and entertainment critics today were all failed musicians and dancers in the past. He mentioned the likes of Rickie, Andy Dosty Sammy Flex and others.Shatta revealed that this individuals have diverted to radio just because they failed when they tried doing music and have turned into critics today criticizing other people unfairly.
Shatta wale questioned them if doing music and staying successful was easy. He added that they wouldn’t have abandoned music to be radio presenters if it was easy.
However, shatta sent a strong warning to Rickie that he should be careful of the things he says about him when he is on radio.
According to shatta wale, it is absurd to give an award to someone who just by chance releases a single Dancehall music over people or persons who are known for producing back to back Dancehall tunes like himself.
He said no artiste in his generation is close to his greatness for the single track he had with international singer Beyoncé tittled “ALREADY” “shadow” . He mentioned that he has respect for Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba and apart from these legends no artiste comes close to his success.
