SHS One And Three students will no longer run the double-track system – Akufo-Addo

President of the 4th republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said that SHS one and three students will no longer run the double-track system.

The double-track system was introduced in 2016 when Akufo-Addo implemented the Free SHS policy. It was divided into two half the green and gold truck.

However, in his 21st address to the nation, after announcing that SHS one students will commence academic work on March 10, 2021, he added that the double-track system will no longer be useful for the SHS one and three students because there have been additional infrastructures over the years to contain all the students.

However, he said that both SHS two and three students will return to school on Saturday, January 18, 2020, and the SHS one students on 10th March,
