Stephen Kaluuya is famous for being the father of British actor and writer Daniel Kaluuya. Stephen is from Uganda. He came to England from Uganda. He and Damalie Namusoke are the parents of Daniel and his older sister. Per the mirror, Stephen and Damalie’s union began to fall apart when Damalie was pregnant with Daniel.
The duo reportedly split because of “misunderstandings” after they moved to the UK in the late 1980s. Although, Stephen Kaluuya and Damalie Namusoke split, Daniel still took his father’s surname. The father and son have an estranged relationship. Stephen is desperately hoping to be reconciled with his son, Daniel. Stephen who is an NHS worker saw his son Daniel Kaluuya when he was a baby.
Stephen Kaluuya is said to have signed Daniel’s birth certificate before he disappeared from his life. According to a family source, Stephen wants to get in touch with his son Daniel. “Stephen just wants the truth to come out and says he could be the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle left in Daniel’s life,” the source said.
“Stephen saw Daniel as a newborn baby, but since then he has never met Daniel and doesn’t know how to get in touch with him. He keeps asking his friends for advice on how to contact Daniel. He has cousins in the US, where Daniel is becoming a big star, and they are putting pressure on him, too.”
Daniel Kaluuya has said how he was raised by his mother in a council flat in Camden, North London. Speaking about his upbringing he said: “My mom is from Uganda. She came to London to give birth to me. I lived in hostels until I was two years old, and then she got a home in Camden, where I grew up. She was on benefits for a long while, which is what Americans call welfare.”

As long as I got the grades, I was thinking I could do whatever the fuck I liked.”
