We will be looking at the Top 10 most corrupt countries in Africa in 2020. The rate of Corruption in Africa countries is what is hindering economic political, and social development. Africa being the least developed and also the poorest continent in the world corruption is one of the main factors that has been robbing the people of a better life. It is a major barrier to economic growth, good governance, and basic freedoms, such as freedom of speech or citizens’ right to hold governments to account.

9. Burundi– Burundi at number 9 with a corruption score of 165

8. Congo– Congo comes 8 with having the same score as Burundi 165

7. Guinea Bissau– Guinea Bissau at the seventh position with 165 as Congo and Burundi, last year Guinea was having a score of 168.

6. DR Congo– DR Congo at number six with a corruption score of 170.

5. Libya– Libya in the top 5 of Africa with 173 corruption score.

4. Equatorial Guinea– Equatorial Guinea has 174 corruption score making it the fourth most corrupt country in Africa

3. Sudan– Sudan taking the third spot with a corruption score of 174 just as Equatorial Guinea.

2. Somalia– The second most corrupt country in Africa is Somalia with a score of 179., Last year Somalia was at the number on spot with 180 score.

1. South Sudan– The most corrupt country in Africa 2020 is South Sudan with 179 Corruption point. South Sudan was number last year with the same 179 points.
