The former Deputy General Secretary of Ghana’s National Democratic Congress party (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, seems to be popping up in the news most more often these days. There seems to be a storm brewing in the home of the former Deputy General Secretary of Ghana’s top opposition party the National Democratic Congress.
Koku Anyidoho’s wife, Jennifer Boahemaa Yeboah, has emerged to accuse the husband of throwing her out of their matrimonial home.
According to the wife, Boahemaaa, this came months after she endured emotional abuse and negligence from her husband.
Boahemaaa said in November 2020 after she got involved in an accident which resulted in the loss of their 8-year-old daughter, she suffered this kind of treatment from her husband. She stated that, her husband never got over the accident and consistently blamed her for the loss of their daughter in the car crash.
She added that her husband ended up taking their only surviving son away from her because he blamed her for the death of their daughter. Jennifer Boahmemaa recalled how while arrangements were being carried out for the burial of their daughter, the former NDC General Secretary in the company of some friends sent bottles of schnapps to her parents to dissolve their marriage which her family took receipt of as evidence when the two families meet to talk about the matter.
On Tuesday, February 23, she noted that while she was away, Anyidoho packed some of her belongings from their matrimonial home and sent it to her mother’s house in a KIA truck. She stated that his actions were not right because the marriage has not yet been dissolved.
Sending an unknown driver to bring some of my things without anyone’s knowledge, and the marriage has not been dissolved officially, I don’t know what he’s trying to say… I was there yesterday trying to sort out a few things at my new apartment when I got a call from my 78-year-old mother that a KIA truck is here with some few things that Anyidoho said they should bring it…
