Teddy Nana Yaw Addi, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Ayensuano Constituency, Speaking to Some group of Journalists in his Constituency, Pleaded with His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic to come to his aid and help fix the impoverished nature of roads lagging the development in the district.
“I am pleading with Akufo-Addo to come to our aid, I am going on my knees because I want all and Sundry in Ghana to know the issue of bad roads is a concern to me,” he said in the viral Video while kneeling down
He noted that the issues of poor development in the district are the repercussions of bad roads, he said, the issue of bad roads has nothing to do with Partisan Politics
He Posited ” This is not the issue of NDC and NPP, It is about fixing the problem in Ayensuano, I am begging Akufo-Addo and his government to come to our rescue”
But, also, Nana Yaw Teddy Addi took to Facebook to assure his Constituents, he would do everything to see that the menace is addressed
He writes :
This morning, I decided to join commercial vehicle(TROTRO) to experience what my constituents go through each and every day when using the road with commercial transport.
One of the major problems we are faced with is the road network, which is in a very deplorable state.
I want to assure my people that, I will do all I can within my power to get the road fixed.
The Ayensuano constituency is in the Eastern region of Ghana. As of 2008, the member of Parliament for the constituency was Ayeh-Paye Samuel. He was elected on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party and lost the December Election to Hon. Teddy Nana Yaw Addi in a small Margin, Teddy contested on the Tickets of the National Democratic Congress after losing the 2016 Election
