Sarkodie made his political affiliation known after he released a song with Kuami Eugene titled ” Happy day”. In the song, the rapper urged his fans to vote for the NPP and Nana Addo on December 7.
Samini on the other hand after taking some amount of money from the NPP released a song for the president and his party titled “Kpoyaka” and the video of the song exhibited some of the works of Nana Addo in all sectors.
Stephen Atubiga, a member of the opposition NDC communication team, in an interview with Kofi TV, has asked the party members to stop listening to songs of Sarkodie and Samini.

He described Samini as a big disappointment to the village where he hailed. According to him, Samini is a big disappointment to his village natives for endorsing NPP looking at the bad state of affairs in the North.
He was a bit mild on the Sarkodie, He didn’t see the endorsement of Sarkodie as a big deal since the rapper is already an Akan.
