Federation of University Senior Staff Association Ghana is still on strike despite Government’s promise to listen to their demands.
The strike has affected the a couple of hospitals and schools in Cape Coast where some of the union members work.
At the University Basic School, some classes are without teachers as all teachers belonging to the union continue to stay at home.
Joynews visited one of the lower primary classes and the situation was chaotic as the little children have turned the class into a play ground.
One of the little kids who spoke to Joynews urged the Government to resolve the issue quickly as strike is affecting them.
She said “The Teachers are gone and as we’re in the class we’re not doing anything, all we’re doing is fooling.. one day one day we’ll not get any job to do oh”
