She had two brothers- Timothy Goldstein and Nick Goldstein. Nick, a filmmaker, and Timothy, who is autistic. Their mother Elizabeth Wood Dreifuss is an attorney. Their father’s birth name is David Goldstein.

What happened to Rupert Holmes’ daughter?
According to her father’s Wikipedia page, Wendy died suddenly in 1986, at the age of ten, of an undiagnosed brain tumor. The loss of Wendy caused the family a great deal of pain but as we all know we have little to almost no control over death. In 2009, the family moved from Scarsdale, New York, where they had lived since Wendy’s death, to Cold Spring, New York.
Their parents were childhood friends. They got married in 1969 and have been together ever since. They have no rumors of a breakup. it is about five decades and counting and they are still loved up. Holmes made his professional debut as a playwright with the musical The Mystery of Edwin Drood in 1985. The success of Drood would lead Holmes to write other plays (both musical and non-) in later years, though he has stated that he avoided musical theater for some time after the death of his beloved daughter Wendy.
