Stuart Cramer is popular for his celebrity marriages. He was an owner of an oil company. Per sources, he was the grandson of Stuart W. Cramer. Her grandfather was an American engineer, inventor, and contractor, who gained prominence after designing and building nearly 150 cotton mills in the southern United States. He was the founder of Cramerton and became involved in the nascent air conditioning industry, as well as being a founding partner in Duke Power.

Stuart Cramer’s first marriage was to actress Jean Peters. Peters was known as a star of 20th Century Fox in the late 1940s and early 1950s. She is best remembered for her siren role in Pickup on South Street (1953), She was known for her resistance to being turned into a sex symbol. The couple tied the knot in 1954.

In 2018, Cramer IV’s younger brother created and executive produced the VH1 series Old Skool with Terry and Gita, which aired in over 40 countries internationally.

He is the President of Landafar Entertainment, an independent film finance and production company. Stuart Cramer’s grandson who was named after him is also an actor. His grandson Stuart W. Cramer is known for his roles in American Spark and the Rudolph Valentino bio film Silent Life. His granddaughter Alexander Cramer is also an actress.

Both of Stuart Cramer’s ex-wives married Howard Hughes

After Cramer and Peter’s marriage came to an end, she got married to Howard Hughes. Peters and Hughes had met in the 1940s before Peters became a film actress. The columnist Jack Anderson claimed that Peters was “the only woman [Hughes] ever loved.” Their marriage lasted from 1957 to 1971.

Before Stuart Cramer and Terry Moore got married, Moore trended as a result of her relationship with Howard Hughes. According to the actress, she and Hughes got married in 1949 in a ceremony performed by a ship captain in international waters. The actress revealed that Hughes destroyed the ship’s log that recorded the marriage, and they separated from each other by 1956, but she and Hughes were never divorced.

Moore’s claim to be Hughes’ widow was rejected by Texas courts based on judicial estoppel; because Moore claimed in her divorce from Stuart Cramer that she was married to him in 1959 and received a property settlement in that case, her claim that she was married to Hughes at the time was inconsistent with that and would not be accepted. Nonetheless, the Hughes heirs acknowledged Moore’s long-standing relationship with Hughes and agreed to a financial settlement with her.
