Wilbert Ross, son of Ernestine (née Moten; January 27, 1916 – October 9, 1984) and Fred Ross, Sr. (July 4, 1920 – November 21, 2007) is known as the brother of Diana Ross. Aside from Diana, he is the brother of Barbara Ross, Rita Ross, Arthur “T-Boy” Ross, Chico Ross, and Fred Ross, Jr.
Details of Wilbert Ross’s early life including his date of birth, age, childhood experiences, and educational background are unknown. His family used to live at 635 Belmont St., in the North End section of Detroit, near Highland Park, Michigan.
When Wilbert Ross’ mother contracted tuberculosis and become seriously ill, he and his siblings had to go live with relatives. After his mother got better, he and his siblings returned to Detroit. They lived in the working-class Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects settling at St. Antoine Street.
Wilbert Ross’ sister Barbara Ross became a physician, an academic, and the first African-American woman to serve as dean of a U.S. medical school. His sister Diana Ross became a singer and actress. Rita Ross is a teacher by profession. She runs for State Representative of the 5th District in Detroit.

Arthur “T-Boy” Ross became a singer and songwriter most notable for his collaborations with Leon Ware. Arthur and his wife Patricia Ann Robinson were tragically murdered. Their body was found decaying in a basement inside a dilapidated home in Oak Park, Michigan, a suburb bordering Detroit, known for its homicides and violent crime.
Arthur and Patricia were reportedly ‘bound and gagged and died of suffocation’. They are said to have died on May 30, 1996, Arthur was 47, and his wife Patricia was 54. As for Wilbert Ross’ siblings Chico Ross and Fred Ross, Jr, their professional details are not known.

Diana Ross was arrested for DUI on December 30, 2002, in Tucson, Arizona, while undergoing substance abuse treatment at a local rehabilitation facility. She later served a two-day sentence near her Connecticut estate.
